PART 1Delete your account from the app
The fastest way is through the app itself; you do not have to wait for your request to be processed.
- Open the ClickChat app and sign in to your account.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
- Open the Settings screen.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
PART 2If you cannot access the app
If you have changed your phone, cannot sign in to your account, or have uninstalled the app, you can send your deletion request by email.
So that we can process your request, please state the following in your message:
- The email address you use to sign in to your account,
- Your profile name in the app,
- That you write from the email address registered to your account, so that we can verify the request belongs to you.
Your request is concluded within 30 days at the latest pursuant to Article 13 of the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), and you receive a written response.
PART 3Data that is deleted
Once the account deletion is completed, the following data is removed:
- Your profile information: name, age, gender, bio, interests,
- All profile photos and Stories you have uploaded,
- Your Feed posts,
- The messages you have sent, along with photo, location and voice message content,
- Your matches and your like records,
- Your location and city information,
- Your sign-in details (email, Google or Apple account link) and your notification identifier.
The data is permanently erased from our systems and backups within 30 days at the latest from the receipt of the request.
PART 4Records that are not deleted
A limited number of records that legislation requires us to retain are kept for the applicable legal period even if your account is deleted:
- Purchase and invoice records — as required by tax and commercial legislation. These records are also held by the App Store and Google Play and cannot be deleted by us.
- Records relating to a report filed about you or to a legal dispute — until the process is concluded.
PART 5Your other rights
Besides deletion, you also have the right to access and correct your data and to request information about transfers. All of these rights and the application procedure are explained on the KVKK Privacy Notice page. You can review how the data is processed on the Privacy Policy page.
