SECTION 1Where do these rules apply?
ClickChat is an app where adults meet and chat, and it may only be used by people who are 18 and over. The rules below apply to everything you create or share in the app:
- Profile photos, username, bio and interests,
- All content shown on the match and Discover screens,
- Text, photos, location and voice messages sent in chats,
- Stories and Feed posts,
- What is said in voice rooms, and voice room titles.
Following the rules is a condition of using the app. If you do not accept the rules, you should not use ClickChat. This page is an inseparable part of the Terms of Use.
SECTION 2What is strictly prohibited
The following content and behavior are prohibited on ClickChat. When such content is detected it is removed and enforcement is applied to your account.

- Producing hate speech based on race, ethnic origin, language, religion, sect, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or similar characteristics.

Fraud, spam, gambling and advertising

- Generating engagement using automated tools, bots or networks of fake accounts.

Disclosure of private information
- Sharing someone else's phone number, address, workplace, identity details or social media accounts without permission.

- Exposing a person's information in order to threaten or shame them.
Other illegal and harmful content

- Disturbing and shocking images such as blood, injuries or cruelty to animals.
- Sharing copyrighted photos, music and videos that do not belong to you without permission.
- Attempting to bypass the app's security measures, harvest data or disrupt the system.
SECTION 3How do we moderate content?
The content on ClickChat is created by users. To keep this content compliant with the rules, we run moderation on two layers:
- Automated filters. Prohibited expressions, spam patterns, the sharing of links and contact details, and suspicious account behavior are caught automatically; such content is blocked or flagged for review.
- User reports. Every report submitted through the Report tool in the app is reviewed one by one by our team.
When assessing your report, we examine the reported content, the context of the communication between the parties and, where they exist, past violation records. We inform the user who submitted the report of the step taken as a result of the review, either in the app or by email.
Moderation does not mean that ClickChat guarantees that a meeting or a person is safe. We recommend that you take reasonable safety precautions when meeting people you get to know, and that you do not share your personal and financial information.
SECTION 4The tools you have
When you come across something that makes you uncomfortable, there is no need to wait; the tools to act are inside the app.
You can also deactivate your account at any time or delete it permanently; the steps are described on the Account and Data Deletion page.
Deliberately misusing the reporting tool — targeting people who have not broken the rules, or filing mass false reports — is a violation in itself and is subject to enforcement.
SECTION 5Enforcement
Depending on the severity of the violation, whether it is repeated, and the harm it causes, we apply one or more of the following steps:
- Warning. For minor and first-time violations, a warning reminding you of the rules is sent.
- Removal of the content. Photos, messages, Stories, Feed posts or profile information that breach the rules are taken down.
- Feature restriction. Features such as messaging, sharing Stories or joining voice rooms may be temporarily switched off.
- Temporary suspension. You cannot access your account for a certain period. The reason and, where applicable, the duration are shown in the app.
- Permanent closure. For serious violations or repeated violations, the account is closed permanently and opening a new account may be prevented.
For violations such as child safety, human trafficking, sexual service ads, serious threats and the sharing of intimate images without consent, no intermediate steps are applied; the account is closed directly and permanently.
SECTION 6Your right to appeal
If you think that your content has been removed or that enforcement has been applied to your account, and you believe this was a mistake, you can appeal the decision.
So that we can assess your appeal, please state the following:
- The email address you use to sign in to your account,
- Your profile name in the app,
- A short explanation about the removed content or the enforcement applied, and a screenshot if you have one.
Your appeal is reviewed again and the outcome is communicated to you by email. If it turns out that a wrong decision was made, the content is restored and the account restriction is lifted.
SECTION 7Emergencies
If you also report such a situation to us, we review the relevant content and account as a priority and apply the necessary restriction. Where legally required, or where a request is made for the prevention or investigation of a crime, account information, content and access records may be shared with the competent judicial and administrative authorities. The scope of this sharing is explained on the Privacy Policy and KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) Privacy Notice pages.
SECTION 8Updating the rules and contact
These rules may be updated because of new features added to the app, changing legislation, or new forms of abuse that we encounter. The current version is always published on this page and the date at the top of the page is updated. Significant changes are announced in the app.
